Each year I have seen some of the ladies of the village sat in the shade threading tobacco. This is an opportunity for them to earn extra money. For some it's difficult to find employment and the growing and production of tobacco brings a little extra cash. For others it's a way to supplement their pension. Baba Ginka is in her 80's and still threads the tobacco, she is an amazing, gentle, kind lady and has a wonderful smile and sparkle that shows in her eyes. I feel it an honour to have met her.
